Baile recommend talcum powder after cleaning to keep the original surface. An adjustable vibration system is built in, so it is not purely manual.
Keep silicone-based lubricant off it and use a water-based formula instead.
A neutral soap and warm water keep the silicone in good condition; dry it off before it is put away.
