Liquid silicone, the soft and heavy sort that stretches a long way and pulls back to shape, which is how a single ring size manages to cover so much ground. The surface is smooth to the touch and durable with it, and the colour is black.
Silicone wants water-based lubricant; anything silicone-based will dull the surface over time.
Rinse it under running water with a mild soap and dry it fully afterwards.
