The trick here is in the construction: two layers of silicone with a slick fluid sealed between them, so the surface stays wet without anything being added. It adds length and girth, 20 cm overall and 5 cm across, and the textured interior does the work on the inside. A flexible base holds it in place.

A water-based gel is what this surface asks for; silicone-based lubricant attacks it.
Wash the silicone with a mild unscented soap and let it dry completely before storage.
