The black Axel works on two AAA batteries, which are not supplied, so a pack is worth adding to the order. The TPE body is waterproof and carries several pulsating speeds. Glossy calls the grade platinum and the material odourless, which in practice means it does not carry the smell some soft plastics do.

- Material: TPE
- Water resistance: waterproof
Water-based lubricant is what TPE needs — silicone-based formulas leave it sticky.
Soap and warm running water clean it well; just give it time to dry before storing.
