Heros is a silicone-based lubricant line, which puts it in a different category from the water-based gels that make up most of this shelf. Silicone does not evaporate, does not need topping up mid-session and stays slippery under running water, which is why it is the usual answer for the shower or the bath. The listings state that it contains no oil and is good to use with condoms. The one thing it must never touch is a silicone toy, because gel and toy belong to the same chemical family and the surface will suffer for it. Volumes run 200 ml, 500 ml and a five-litre container for heavy or professional use. A little goes a very long way here, so start with less than you would pour of a water-based gel.
