SPARTAN

Spartan is a narrow shelf: an intensifying gel for couples in a 40 ml bottle, described on its sheet as vegan. It is applied topically to build a warming sensation rather than used as a lubricant, and that distinction is worth holding onto, because it will not do a lubricant's work and is not sold as one. The sheet states compatibility with latex and with condoms, so it does not get in the way of barrier protection. Forty millilitres is a generous amount for something used a few drops at a time, so one bottle lasts a long while. There is not a great deal of shelf to browse here; the arousal gel and tingling gel categories hold alternatives from other makers.
