These are topical gels applied to the vulva and vaginal opening, sold on the promise of making the G-spot area more responsive. They are cosmetics rather than lubricants, and the bottles are small, measured in tens of millilitres and meant to last. Two sensations dominate the shelf. One group produces a cooling, tingling feel, described in those words on the pages. Another warms on contact. Some of the formulas are water-based and a few state that they are safe alongside latex, which is the line to look for if you use condoms. Read the ingredient list: botanical extracts, menthol and sugars behave differently, and what works for one person can be too intense for another. Apply a small amount first, give it a minute, and wash off if it stings.
