Strokers built around one shape: a sleeve moulded and textured like a mouth. The price spread here has almost nothing to do with build quality. It is about whether you do the work or the device does.

The shelf splits cleanly in two

Hand-worked sleeves

Soft TPR, no electronics, nothing to charge. Jamyjob Mouth Power and Addicted Toys Mouth are the two to know. They are silent, they travel, and they are the sensible place to find out whether this shape suits you before spending ten times more.

Powered strokers

Here a motor drives the sleeve. Jamyjob Hurricane works by suction. PDX Elite Moto-Bator combines suction with piston thrusting, and each can run on its own. Roto-Bator and Moto Stroker add rotation to vibration; the Moto Stroker uses two internal rings that squeeze as they travel. At the top, Mega-Bator runs rotation and vibration together.

Almost all of it is TPR, and TPR has rules

The soft material used here is thermoplastic rubber. It feels closer to skin than silicone does, which is the whole point — but it is porous, and it does not tolerate silicone lubricant.

  • Water-based lubricant only. Jamyjob puts this in its own instructions, specifying a paraben-free water-based product.
  • Wash after every use, warm water and mild soap, and let it dry fully before storing.
  • Renewing powder keeps the surface from getting tacky. PDX ships its sleeves with instructions to use it.

If you would rather have a body-safe, non-porous material you can boil, that means silicone, and it means a different shelf.

Where this shelf ends and the next begins

The powered models here overlap with the automatic masturbators, and only a handful of items sit in both. The distinction we use is shape, not mechanism: everything on this page is built around a mouth. If what matters to you is the motor rather than the moulding, start there instead. For sleeves in every other shape, see the wider stroker range.

Common questions

Is the expensive one ten times better?

No. It is automatic. A hand-worked sleeve and the dearest machine deliver a similar sensation; the machine delivers it hands-free, repeatably, and with settings. If you have never owned a stroker, buying the cheap one first is not a compromise, it is the right order.

Can I use it in the shower?

Only where the product says so. Powered units with USB charging ports are the ones to be careful with — water and a charging port are a bad combination regardless of what the sleeve is made of.

How discreet are these?

The hand-worked sleeves are small, silent and easy to store. The powered ones are the size of a large flask and audible in a quiet room. That is worth weighing if you share walls.

What does the mouth shape actually change?

Texture and tightness at the opening, mainly. The internal channel is where the sensation comes from, and it differs from model to model — the product page for each one describes its own ribbing and chambers.
