These are textured sleeves with a motor built in, so the stimulation comes from the vibration as much as from the stroke. The inner channel is soft TPE or TPR on most models, held in a rigid ABS casing that houses the battery and controls. Power splits between removable cells and rechargeable units, several of the latter over USB, and a good number are driven by a remote rather than buttons on the body. Where a model offers preset patterns, the count is printed on its page. Only a minority carry a water rating, so check before rinsing anything more than the sleeve. Lengths sit in single digits to the mid-teens in centimetres. TPE and TPR need a water-based lubricant and a careful dry afterwards, since the material is porous and will hold moisture.
